Queensland Premier-elect Annastacia Palaszczuk has unveiled her new cabinet and its leisure portfolio responsibilities.

While Mick de Brenni will retain the sport and recreation portfolio and Kate Jones will remain Minister for Tourism and Minister for the Commonwealth Games, Leeanne Enoch is the new Minister for Environment and the Great Barrier Reef, Minister for Science and Minister for the Arts.

In this new role, Enoch takes on the arts portfolio from Premier Palaszczuk while former Environment Minister Dr Steven Miles becomes Queensland's new Health Minister.
