Final countdown to Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2015
With just days until the start of Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2015 - the must-attend conference and exhibition for those involved in sports venue design, build, management, operation, fit-out and technology - conference organisers have revealed some new benefits for attendees.
With the conference to start at 2pm on Monday 28th September, the event’s organisers have organised a special ‘behind-the-scenes’ tour of the Singapore Sports Hub between 12pm and 1pm.
The bespoke tour is only available to a limited number of attendees, with places to be guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis.
The tour schedule will take attendees to the Singapore Sports Hub’s Indoor Stadium, Library, Singapore Sports Museum/Shimano Cycling World, waterfront area, Kallang Wave Mall and the new Singapore landmark, the National Stadium.
The free tour is only available to Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2015 registered attendees.
Two days later, on the afternoon of Wednesday 30th September, the Disney Institute’s Alice Edinger (Senior Account Manager, Disney Institute – Asia Pacific) and Wing Tan Senior (Facilitator, Disney Institute – Asia Pacific), will be giving the event’s closing keynote.
This will mark the second time Disney has participated in the event, having given a hugely successful Opening Keynote at Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2013 event.
Edinger will also join the panel session on Fan Engagement, where industry experts will present their ideas and inspiration on how to give your supporters more ‘bang for their buck’, increase fan loyalty and enhance the game day experience in order to create lasting and memorable moments.
The long-standing reputation Disney Theme Parks and Resorts has for incredible service and friendly employees is not magic, it is sound ideology, consistently applied in business. The Disney Institute’s program teaches the importance of understanding that fans are ‘guests’ and the interactions they have with stadium employees and third-party vendors will impact the overall fan experience, which will have a significant impact on their intent to return to the stadium.
Edinger and Tan join the now more than 50 industry-elite speakers confirmed to participate at Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2015 event, which will cover all aspects of sport venue design, build, management, operation, fit-out and technology.
Stadia & Arena Asia Pacific 2015 is set to once again be the largest gathering of industry professionals in the region, with those attending the event due to benefit from the opportunity of meeting many of the leading sports architects, producers and suppliers, including Arup, AECOM, Cox Architecture, d&baudiotechnik, Dallmeier, Harman, HOK, ICSS, KSS, Populous, Rossetti, Siemens, SMG and Ungerboeck Software.
